FAQ

How do I sign up?

  • To reserve a spot, kindly download the Sense Pilates app or visit our website. You will need to create an account to proceed with your registration.
  • For more information on private 1-1 or private group sessions, please email us at info@sensepilates.com.

Where do I park?

Parking is available directly in front of and behind the studio; both areas are pay-to-park by scanning a QR code. Valet parking is also available during certain hours of the day for added convenience. Additionally, there is a four-story garage located between Talbot’s and Barnes & Noble, across the street. While ground-level parking near the studio may be limited during peak hours, the garage consistently offers free ample parking spaces. For further options, you can find parking in the nearby neighborhood—access the studio’s front entrance via the opening by Cocody.

What time should I arrive for class?

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your session for a tour of the studio and to get set up on your machine. We do not offer a grace period for first-time visitors, so it’s important to arrive ahead of time!

Can I attend as a beginner?

Yes. If you’re new to Pilates or need a refresher, consider starting with our Foundations Group Class. This class is offered once a week, perfect for those looking to become acquainted with the reformer before progressing to our signature classes. If the timing doesn’t suit your schedule, don’t worry! Our instructors are trained in providing modifications or advancements for each exercise, accommodating all levels of experience and fitness needs.

What should I wear? Do I need to bring anything?

  • We recommend wearing comfortable yet fitted attire to facilitate free movement and allow our instructors to make any necessary adjustments.
  • For safety and sanitary reasons, grip socks are required for every class. Forgot to bring a pair? No worries—grip socks are available for purchase in our studio’s retail section. You can also buy them in advance through our app, and we’ll have them ready for you when you arrive.
  • We offer a selection of drinks, electrolytes, and bottled water for sale in the studio.

Waitlist information

  • Our classes are limited to 10 for personalized attention and tend to fill up quickly. If a class is full, you can join the waitlist. Should you be moved from the waitlist to the class, you’ll receive an email and or text confirmation— make sure you’ve opted in for class alerts!
  • If you are added to a class from the waitlist within the 12-hour window before the class starts, the standard cancellation/no-show policy will be applied. Please attend the class to avoid being marked as a ‘no-show’. You can check your position on the waitlist by logging into your Sense Pilates account and navigating to ‘My Classes.’
  • To avoid the late cancellation penalty, please remove yourself from the waitlist at least 12 hours before the class if you no longer need a spot. The waitlist automatically adds members to classes up to 3 hours before they start.
  • There is no penalty for not securing a spot from the waitlist or for removing yourself from the waitlist before the 12-hour window.

What if I have to cancel?

To establish fairness and respect for all our clients, Sense Pilates enforces a strict 12-hour cancellation policy. To avoid penalties, please cancel your class before the 12-hour window. If you cancel within the 12-hour window, you will forfeit the class credit. You can cancel classes easily via our app or website.

How often should you roll?

Aim for 1-2 sessions weekly, adjusting as necessary based on your body’s needs and your overall exercise routine.

What should I wear to my body roll session?

Please wear fitted activewear to your sessions. Ensure your clothing does not have zippers or buttons. All jewelry must be removed before the session begins. We recommend wearing socks, and please have your hair securely tied back in a bun or an updo.

Before and After care

We recommend drinking plenty of water before and after your session to activate your lymphatic system.
